Hey readers, let’s talk music. The kind of song that you wanna listen to is always based on your mood. It’s about how you feel, what life is throwing at you in the moment. I think chill songs are so important because they can calm you down or just let you relax. Life can be so stressful and sometimes you have to let yourself take a break, and music is by far one of the best ways to do it. Listening to a calm song with a soft voice is one of the nicest things ever. It gives you a chance to breathe and take a moment to just exist, because you need that sometimes. There are several different artists that have this effect on you. Some that I recommend are, UMI, SZA, Daniel Caesar, and Billie Eilish. I’m sure that there are plenty more talented artists but these are the main ones that I listen to when I want to have a chill vibe. All of these artist have songs that are so truly amazing and have an amazing effect on you. Today the one I’ll be focusing on is Daniel Caesar.

He’s a very talented singer and song writer. His voice is so monotone, but in a way that keeps you interested. It’s really beautiful and has an incredible high range. It’s really soft, but also very passionate. And his lyrics are always really thought out and very personal. He sings about life and his experiences. His lyrics are very meaningful to a lot of different people. I love so many of his songs because they all speak to me and moments in my life. He has an amazing gift for song writing and I’m so happy that he decided to share his gift with the world. He’s got really inspirational songs and lyrics and stories. Although it’s hard to choose a favorite song from this artist, I’d have to say it’s Streetcar.

The beat to this song is really unique and although it’s soft, it has a lot of attitude. The songs begins, and even before he starts singing, it’s sends off good energy. In this song he sings about how life goes by so fast and he wants to take a chance with a girl. It’s a risk, but he wants to know how she would react to his “what if” question. He explains about how life is too short to live with regrets and how risk taking is necessary. Sometimes we get scared to follow our hearts, and we decide to stay in our comfort zone. And maybe, for a while you can be happy living like that, but one day you’re gonna be 80 years old wishing that you had just told the girl how you felt. Wishing that you had at least applied to the college feather than giving it up because of anxiety. Wishing that you had at least tried to take a leap of faith. Daniel Caesar tells us about how you can’t live a life bound in chains, you have to let go sometimes. Moments pass by us so fast, it’s unbelievable really. We’re all given the beautiful gift of life, we should at least try to actually live.

I feel like this message is a really important one for people to hear because it’s very relatable. So many people struggle with anxiety, or just the fear of taking risks. While these struggles are valid, they’re not impossible to defeat. While life can be so nice and it does last for a while, it doesn’t last forever. And before you realize it, years can pass and all the time you used to have is just gone. Decades go by in a flash. Daniel tells us about the risk he wants to take, and that he understands that we don’t have forever. In the time we do have, we need to live, not just be alive. Also, some other recommend songs by him: Blessed, Transgressors song, and Superposition. They’re really great and have a really chill effect on you just like the one described in this song.
