Fresh eyes- Andy Grammer

Hey readers, let’s talk music! Andy Grammer is our artist today. I really like his sound, his voice, and his choice of music for his songs. His music always makes me feel happy, it puts me in a good mood. Music is always about moods, and his music is definitely for good ones. I love listening to his music when I’m driving with my mom. We always have so much fun on the road, singing and dancing along to our favorite tunes. All of my best memories include my momma and an awesome playlist. My mom, Sara Brown, is a singer so we drive a lot to the places where she plays. It’s always a good time to tag along with her and find some new music. The first time I heard Andy Grammer was during one of these drives, and my mom played “Fresh eyes.” I thought it was so cute and happy. I remember feeling so thankful in that moment, for good music and my beautiful mom. And I’m reminded of that every time I listen to it.

Fresh eyes is one of the most genuine love songs that I’ve heard. The rhythm is really fun and fun to dance to (especially in the car with your crazy mom.) The lyrics are adorable and sweet, and sure to bring out your smile. His first lyrics are; “I‘ve got these fresh eyes, never seen you before like this, my god you’re beautiful.” I love how innocent they are and how sweet he’s being. I personally think it’s one of the best feelings ever to be called beautiful. So often women are approached by men who don’t really know how to act, because maybe they weren’t raised right. Or they’re trying to impress some friends. They call us “sexy” or “hot”, but those are rarely compliments, but stupid remarks of immature guys trying to look good. So when I get called beautiful, I honestly get so happy. Being a girl, it’s just really refreshing to hear.

I love that Andy Grammer calls his girlfriend beautiful and supports her getting dressed up and going out. I think a lot of people try to limit what their girlfriend/boyfriend wears out in public, but it’s important to let them wear what makes them feel confident. It’s good to dress up and feel good about it. I love it when people support their significant others like a best friend for trying new things. I heard that the best relationship is having someone who‘s protective like a sibling, hypes you up like a bestie, and loves you like a mom.
